DawnDawn dancing over shadowed hill
A rising summer, night to kill
Broken light and filter-through,
Shining glass to cast askew.

Memory and time to bend
Earth to move, the sun to send
Shadows dancing, dancing to
A newer world of morning dew.

Where to go?
The world is bright
So many things,
No time for sight.

Listen, laughter journeys here,
To the world of far less fear
Where we will run, and we will cry,
When daylight splits the starry sky.

Songthe gentle hum of the silver toned notes,
waltzing through the air in a well rehearsed dance,
the flowers bloomed and the fruits ripened to the tune,
the sound of spring rhythmically carried in every note,
every half note carried the sound of the brook,
and every quarter note the whispers of the wind,
with every crescendo a tiny universe was brought to life,
thus was the magic of the nightingale song

WandererHeavy steps bounce off the ground
Singing not a single sound
As they play through a moonlit forest
Forever to the woods I'm bound
Purple flowers dot the vines
In twisting golden lit designs
Illuminating a path to see
Not staying to such small confines
I'll keep this path 'twill forever wander
My thoughts I'll keep to think and ponder
Just me alone to take the dare
I will not hear no singing responder
I'll travel through weathers of dark and bright
embracing these woods that give no fright
I'll sleep in the shadows of dusk and dawn
And wake to the forests morning light

ThenI was always lost in my thoughts from birth until the end
Always questioned exactly why I was given the will to breathe
Yet, others lie dead, and everyone seems to grieve
Never caring while they lived, what message does that send?
So I spent my youth watching the others extremely closely
I would copy certain signals that made them temporarily smile
Spent the teen years mostly alone, fighting inside my head
Began to study life, eventually determined to fight the trial
Why are we here? Psychology, and then philosophy
"Beware the barrenness of a busy life" quote Socrates
"Make it on your own" was the general hypothesis

"Mommy, when will daddy wake up"
"Soon, just wait and fear you not"
"What does he need this weird cup?"
"Without it, wounds would probably rot"
"I see, but I much fear to watch"
"You don't, just stand, and help"
"So when it'll be, the lucky snatch?"
"Seagull must bring piece of a kelp"
"I need to see the sea, and watch!"

The sea was just like it was before
There were some waves, on the shore
Yet no one around, to even shout
And no one around, to ask about
The boy came up, the highest cliff
From where he heard, the wave riff
He looked far, horizon chased him
Thin line before, was even more slim

"Hey you, sea, give me a seagull just"
Sea ran

The moon follows me at nightThe moon follows me at night…

And in its sight, all is revealed
As the trees, dark and concealed
Frame the light with shapes unreal,
and not right.

It stalks me with great haste…

Giving chase in silent lunges
Taking plunges in the waists,
of darkened coves and littered grunges
Deftly racing by expunging
all its weight.

And as I bound, I order “Faster!”
Being master of this round
I order legs, not nearly weightless
To fly forth up off the ground
In the hopes that moon, so shapeless
will confound.

And as it slows I feel it dimming
See my winnings take their form
See it go, hymn distilli

Mans Red FlowerWith her crimson peddles she fights the darkness that surounds me. The scent of her fragrance has kept me warm from the cold world. The absents of her presence causes me to fear the unknown things around me. Then upon her blossming into existence, I great her like an old friend. I tend this beautiful flower with care, for she is the embodiment of life.

they always said that if you shoot for the moon
and you miss
you’ll still land among the stars

but what if you don’t burn as bright
and you’re always over-shadowed by some big planet

what if you don’t make up a constellation
and no one wishes on you

what if you start to flicker
and no one is around to plot your co-ordinates

if you ask me
we should all work on our aim

SunriseThe sky was painted a mixture of pinks and purples
As she sat on the deck watching it while sipping tea
It seemed so soft going up from the mountain and
Over the town. She was not one to get up early but
Just this once it was nice to see in the soft haze of
Just waking up.

The birds chirped and called and for once it did not
Bother me, there was no sound of other people however
No kids calling out, no adults talking to each other
Just the sounds of early morning animals across
The lovely painted sky

Words...Tantamount to twins
yet poles apart
troubled by the similarities
mirrored in their eyes.
Engrossed in thoughts
of trivial testimonies.
Hand in hand they play
with complexed words
of progressive piety.

Shortest and Longest

The winter night,
long time passing
cooling the meagre warmth
from our fallen summer sun.

Soon to shrink
then drawing out
until memories of deep cold
chase away the winter moon.
